Thanksgiving Letters

As we get ready for our Thanksgiving break and CM thanksgiving dinner, we will take the day to create letters to our friends and family to express how grateful we are for them all.

Location: Park, CM office, Library

Materials Needed: Paper (blank or colored), markers, crayons, pen/pencil, stickers (optional)

Lunch: $12

Activity Breakdown

• Step 1: Discuss the definition of the word thankful and talk about what you are thankful for as a group.
• Step 2: Encourage participants to think about and share things that they are thankful for and have them write a letter to someone expressing what they are thankful for.
• Step 1: They can decorate and get creative with their letter. Encourage them to share the letters with their family.
